BUDDY'S ELECTROACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT


Buddy had trouble with his hips and hind legs when he first came to SAH.  He held the right hind leg out to the side and had a lot of problems getting up and with stairs.

We have used VOM, electroacpucture, duralactin, and homeopathics to help Buddy.  For the electroacupuncture, we put in the chinese needles and hook up the wires to a machine that stimulates the needles.  In this picuture you can see how the girls help us out!


We start acupunture with a hand held stim unit, which works for most of the cases.  In the few cases it doesn't work this electroacupunture is one of our other options.  Most dogs enjoy this treatment, as you can see on Buddy's face.  Buddy is back to normal now and comes in for "tune ups" when he forgets how old he really is and not how old he feels!!!
